Sprouted perspectives was sprouted in the heart of chef Jamie Franzino, founder + creator of Sprouted in Love. Jamie has been plant based for 17+ years. Growing up in northern NJ Jamie has had the blessing of experiencing all four seasons for her whole life. This was a gift she didn’t appreciate until later in her life when she fell deeply in love with all things food. Jamie started to understand more about the connection between the food we eat, the land it grows on, what seasons different foods thrive in, etc. Jamie created Sprouted in Love to offer services that showcase her recipes and lifestyle suggestions. Jamie’s recipes and services focus on organic and locally sourced ingredients while her suggestions focus on eco-conscious lifestyle choices in an effort to share her passions with the world!

At a young age Jamie also fell in love with our Earth. She believes that everything this sacred planet has to offer us is truly divine. Studying the interconnection between the food she consumed and the Earth led Jamie to ask herself deeper questions. “Was I consuming food in a way that honored the planet or were my actions a reflection of a deeper societal conditioning?” were questions Jamie pondered. Not only with food, but she questioned her consumerism in all avenues of her life. These questions started buzzing Jamie’s mind at such a young age and as a result, under the influence and direction of her older sister, Jamie decided to integrate a plant based lifestyle into her being.

Eco-Conscious Lifestyle

In an effort to decrease her carbon footprint Jamie has made many adjustments over the years . These adjustments have allowed Jamie to create a eco-conscious lifestyle for herself that truly is healing for self, our community, and our Earth. Aspects of an eco-conscious lifestyle Jamie likes to consider:

-Eating organic, non-gmo food.

-Learning more about locally grown foods, sustainable consumerism, biodynamic farming & community supported agriculture (CSA).

-Learning how to remove toxic chemicals from the household and what types of Earth friendly options to replace them with

-Supporting the slow fashion movement.

Eating with the seasons

Jamie is here to help you build the bridge of connection. With all of this in mind, there is SO much more us human beings can do to show up together for each other and for the planet. Let’s find a way together to carve a path that for a better tomorrow by allowing the truth in each of our hearts to align with our actions in all aspects of life. 

Sprouted in Love

Sprouted in Love’s determination is to share love in a way that inspires you to live a life that is true to your soul and honors the Earth that we all call home. Jamie grew up working in an organic health food store through her late teen years all throughout her 20’s which lit a fire in her heart. That love propelled her through the 13+ years of love and labor that Jamie offered to the community at large, in the service of food.

Nothing fills Jamie’s heart more than understanding the incredible alliance between the food we grow and the seasons they grow in. Let’s be honest… there’s nothing like the warm spices that welcome in the fall each year, or the stick-to-your-bones hearty winter stews and soups. The first crunch of crisp lettuce that pops out of the ground in the spring time, and the mouth watering melons that keep us cool all summer long.

Jamie’s experience working as a head chef has enriched many years of her life. She feels truly blessed to offer with so many incredible recipes, tips, and tricks with you all.
